Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate estimates for HVAC projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate bid
submissions.
• Work closely with the project management and operations teams to ensure bids align
with project goals.
• Obtain quotes from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and scope
compliance.
• Develop takeoffs and manage all estimating duties through bid submission.
• Assist in post-award evaluations to refine future estimates and ensure consistent
profitability.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and team members to clarify bid details and project
requirements.
• Maintain thorough records of all bids and proposals in the Bid Log spreadsheet.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, materials, and labor costs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in estimating software and Office programs (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
