Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) to verify code compliance and safety standards.
• Document findings with reports, diagrams, and photos, provide corrective action recommendations.
• Review and interpret construction plans, permits, and engineering reports for compliance.
• Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure corrections are completed.
• Communicate inspection results with contractors, engineers, and project managers.
• Stay current on building codes and safety regulations, participate in ongoing training.
• Travel to job sites, operating and maintaining company vehicles, while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Building Inspector License (Commercial & Residential).
• Valid driver’s license with clean record, ability to travel extensively.
• ICC or equivalent certifications in MEP or plans examination preferred.
• Knowledge of construction methods, codes, and safety standards.
• Strong report writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 35–75 lbs. and work outdoors in varying field conditions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, FDC software a plus.
